She is also a past board member of Volunteer Services for Animals. Currently she serves as secretary of the RIVMA Companion Animal Foundation, of which she was a founding member. Dr. Rebensdorf is particularly proud of her work with the RIVMA Companion Animal Foundation, which raises funds to help low income individuals and families afford veterinary care for their beloved pets. She also currently serves as the Alternate Delegate from Rhode Island to the American Veterinary Medical Association. She shares her life with her husband Bob, and four cats named Flipper, Wilber, Whitey, and Pinky.
